We had a warm up today. It reached almost 60 but that will change as soon as the sun sets. Brrrrrrrr!

Besides, even when it's warm and dry, there is sand and salt all over the place in these parts. So there ends up being way too much cleaning when your done with your ride. I'm in NE Massachusetts.

Course, you guys up north will be able to give me grief when I start "discussing" Texas weather this summer when it is 100+

You make me feel lucky to be in Georgia. Along with looking at all the fine Georgia peaches :D I've only missed riding a total of two weeks since I bought my FLHT in June. That was due to rain not cold and it wasn't all at the same time. Today it was in the high 60's :p I've put 9100 miles in and I picked er up the last week in June.

It's a bummer in the northeast. I visit my bike in the garage a lot as if visiting someone in the hospital who can't leave for a few more months.

Are they REALLY? I've always heard about 'em, just never made it over to find out for myself before I got myself hitched.

    Am I missing anything?

Yep, it finally got down to the low 40's a little while back...that's cold enough for me!!! Lived in Wyoming, Colorado, and upstate New York. You can have it between September and April. I'll just melt down here. :)

Been riding to work, Yesterday it was 22F and this morning it was 19F. Gotta love the Gerbings Had to ask the plant facilities manager to have the snowed removed from the motorcyle parking area though. He complied. Hte ride home is warmer today it was in the 40's. It just makes you appreciate the ride when it gets warmer.

    cold!!!

Learned to appreciate that warmer thing years ago. Colorado is just a cold memory for me here in sunny Arizona. Today was a cool 78 degrees burr, had to decide long sleeve or short. Dutch

    Long sleeve or short sleeve

    Dutch,
I went with the short sleeve yesterday for the first time this year. We better enjoy it now because I have a feeling we are going to FRY this summer. I'm not to interested in the Superbowl stuff so I think I'll get out in it for a long ride on Sunday and enjoy some of the great riding conditions here this time of year.

Got a blue norther comin'. Suppose to get into the high 38s, about as cold as it's been. Of course, here on the golden gulf coast by the placid blue waters of Lavaca Bay, it'll be low 40s. Wind'll likely be blowin' 40 mph, though. I just changed the rear tire on the Wing. Wore the rear out this "winter". :p :D

Just got another inch up here in MI. Getting to the point that I don't take the snow thrower out until there's 3 or more on the drive. I got 2 good days in December and 1 in January to get some riding in. I'm getting the shakes up here need a MC fix real soon!
