I have never asked this before, but - How many people like the front and rear bumper on E-Glides?

It looks nice when you take the rubber thing off and leave the chrome bars so I always wonder why some folks leave the rubber in place. I mean it's not like it is going to save anything if you get hit. I just don't undrstand what the rubber thing does and why HD hasen't changed that look for ...what... 15 or 20 years?

I like the clean look of the Street Glide and the Ultra SE's.

Am I wrong? Do most people like the bumper look and the rubber thing?

it is there for looks.....more chrome. i have a hitch on mine and it sorta fills the void back there. i dont have one on the front. i had them on my pan but removed them as i thought it looked better. some folks have to have the most chrome and do dads hung on there bikes, others like em plain and simple. different strokes, makes the world go round!!!!!!!!!:)
