Speakers and water resistance

Anyone know if the the OEM factory, Hogtunes, Hawg Wired, or J&M speakers are marine grade or water resistant, or are they similar to regular car speakers with the specific ratings (2 ohm) for the 06 HK radio?

Looking at new speakers

I'm looking to replace the OEMs, but don't want to pay $117 for HT or 140+ for HW. I found two sets of 2-ohm speakers that have better specs than Hawg Wired, Hogtunes, and J&Ms, but cost $55-75 (with shipping) cheaper, depending on which set I go with. They are high end speakers and usually sell for $140+, but I found them for a great price. Even if I have to buy an $8 set of baffles from Crutchfield for waterproofing, I'd still have money in my pocket. The materials in the OEMs don't look any different than what I'm finding in most quality car speakers. It may require 20-30 minutes of fitting and wiring to make them work, but thats a lot better than $55-75 more for "Harley" specific speakers. Mainly, I'm just tired of seeing jacked prices for something just because it was "built" for a Harley. Almost like Harley taking Mikunis HSR carb, placing a $10 chrome SE cover on it and charging $200+ more.

DeathWind, it sounds to me like you have it already figured out, go with what your wallet says. Does this mean your not buying one of them $50 dog bowls that Harley has…
