    How's this for speed control?
I don't know about you, but this would slow me down!
People slow down and try to "straddle" the hole, then breathe a sigh of relief that they completely cleared it!
This is actually a speed control device that is in use in Canada .
Scroll down and look at all three pictures.
And it is much cheaper than speed cameras.

Must be one of those things that makes it look like there is a hole in the ground.

You sure got that right...we don't need pics of massive potholes to slow us down in NS, we got the real thing;)

That is just plain wrong. They should not be allowed to put something like that on the ground. Could cause a bike to crash as it swerves to miss it or worse yet an accident resulting in a fatality, just wrong.

I see both pro and con.....HOPEFULLY, biker is smart enuf to be scanning so he/she would just glide by it...but in heavy traffic, I could see BIG problems!
