Speedo problems

    speedometer has a mind of its own.shows 55 when going 80,then seems okay.then it shows10 when stopped.moves slow going up and down. odometer still works fine,checks fine at all speeds. any ideas?

    pull the speed sensor out and clean it...it probably has dirt and crud on it..have seen this before. about 1/2 hr job, piece of cake. just follow the directions in the manual.......
