Can someone tell me what carburetor would be on an '03 Sportster XL1200C? Also, would that be a twin cam? Thank, Bob

All carbureted HD models come stock with a Keihin CVK40 carburetor. It is not a twin cam i.e. TC88 Or Big Twin. The Sportster engines all use 4 cams 1 for every valve.

When you hear talk of a CV carb that's the carb you have, it has a 40MM opening hence cv40, and it has a slide that is pushed up by velocity, more air needed the higher the slide goes (CV - Constant Velocity) here is a site that has a lot of CV information and Diagrams, stuff you can read while sitting on the pot.
