Can somebody recommed a good aftermarket Ignition system for a 1980 Ironhead Sportster. Right now it's stock except for S&S carb and pipes but I going to have some head work done and upgrade the cams and later 10:1 compression. I have read some about Dynatek Dyna 2Kip and Daytona Twin Tec but just not sure what I need.

Dyna ignitions are good, don't know much about the Twin Tec tho.
You doing a points conversion or upgrading an early electronic??
If you're doing head work and cams, setting compression is part of the package.
I would just get the heads cleaned(Street Port), maybe shave enough to bump CR half a point.... talk it over with your head guy...leave the stock cams... put a set of Cycle shack mufflers on.
A 31 yr old bike I'd want reliable instead of hi-performance, :)
