For those who want to have it here is a wiring dia. for allowing the spots to stay on when you turn the brights on. Check your state laws first.

Anybody know about Marylands law on that? I noticed mine were that way from the factory. found out while riding one night. I would like to have them on all the time or turn them of with the switch.

Thanks Chuck, I guess if there is no restriction on daytime use of headlight, I will be ok to change it.

With all the insects you have down in Texas those big spots will surly attract em to your bike. Bet the front of your bike looks like it has fur on it after a nights ride with them on.

One of the first things I change on a bike is the headlight bulb. When they come they only have a 55 watt low and a 65 watt high beam so I replace them with a 55/100 and it makes a world of difference to these eyes with the ditches and deer of southern minnesota. And it's still a legal low beam
