I've watched Videos for over a year.
    I like the XDM series.
Have some friends with the SRC9

Remember this. I grew up with my dads buddy a couple doors down that was a gunsmith. I did basic and AIT at Ft Jackson.
I go to Gun shows. I am very aware about pistols
    Kickok is a Glock Fan.
    If you watch him.
He is really liking the new Springfield XDM series cause its so much like the glock.
The springfield XDM fits my hand super good.
With all the guns I have, I COULD BUY any WEAPON I WANT.
What I wanted was the springfield XDM
I carried a Springfield 45 at Ft Jackson along with the M60 during BAsic and AIT

If you watched the video which I doubt you did you would have heard Hickcok45 say the SR9C and 40C are closer to the Glock. He is not a big fan of the Springfield XD series of pistols including the XDM.

He is a Fan of NOTHIN but GLOCK
You see a lot of his Video's and he has a Glock hat on.
Glock is a great pistol. I just don't like the safety system it.
You see him comparing everything to a GLOCK.
I used to have many Glocks. Some I got over 20 yrs ago.

The Springfield XD and the new XDM series I like the safety on the grip that the Glock don't have

    Go to the gun shows.
There are plenty of Ruger SR9 Pistols.
There are plenty of Glock pistols.

Look for a XDM 3.8 compact in a 40 or a 45, your choice narrow down unless you are there 1st.
Too many folks are buying them and the wait period is getting longer.
This is what several gun dealers told me back during the spring.
Got several friends that has tried to git them. Bought the Older XD cause they didn't want to wait.

Bottom line. Its what pistol that fits your hand the best .
I like the Glock and the Springfield XDM cause you know the pistol will fire even if it gets dirty and you don't clean it. And its a Polymer pistol

My wife carries a Glock model 19 that I bought her.

I don't like Glocks, feels like a 2X4 in the hand. XDM is also over priced for a foreign made gun. You can buy the same XDM made by the outfit in Croatia for a lot less. Springfield just puts their name on it and resells it. Want a high quality pistol buy a Sig, then you have something.
My SR9C and 40C will shoot as well or outshoot the XDM, I've shot em both and can group better with the Ruger.

    Good for you.

I will still own and carry a XDM 3.8 compact.
Out of the Box a Xd or a XDm is a great pistol

Glocks has a place in the U.S.
But because of the EPA they still have stuff made in Austria
There is nothing wrong with the Croatia XDM
The problem that drove the price of Pistols and bulletsup is your president and Hilary Clinton

I was told back in the spring. Obama has people scared. Pistol and bullet sales has gone threw the roof.
A buddy of mine was with me when the Gun Dealers told me If there was a pistol I wanted to buy it now.
    Pistols are going up
My buddy does reloads. He bought all the lead and gun power they had at the show.
He listened to them heed the warnin to me.
Another neighbor was trying to buy a XDM 40, he couldn't find one and has been to 3 shows on sunday.

Let me say this once OK, he ain't my ****ing president don't know why you keep saying that bull****. You want him you cam have the d-head.

I have a XD-40 and to make it shoot half way decent I had to put a trigger kit in it. Yet the Ruger will out perform it hands down. The trigger on the XDM also needs to be up graded and had the LGS got me one instead of screwing up I was going to put a trigger kit in it also. Go handle a SR9C or 40C and feel the trigger, your going to be surprised.

He is the number one gun salesman in the USA

While you guys debate XDm and Ruger, both fine firearms and the block, not a bad gun..

I find the best polymer with the absolute best trigger
bar none out of the box to be the Walther PPQ.

Give one a try, check out the trigger at your LGS
if you can get your hands on one, they are well made
super smooth and light trigger with the shortest reset
of alll these guns, easy to keep on target
and the weight is very good.

I have one of each of the guns you listed (well not the Ruger)
and the PPQ smokes them all, including my XDm 5.25 with PRP Ultimate
Match Competition Trigger Kit and my G29 Glock with Ghost Trigger
connector with the stock out of the box PPQ trigger.

The trigger in any gun you have to get used to.
I have no problem with the trigger. I like the trigger pull.
The XD and the XDM are not the same gun. The XDM is the new XD, the rifles in the barrel are better.
I have both the 40 and the 45. I like both of them

My nephew who is a doctor bought the XD 9 compact and he shot a great group
His wife who is a doctor even shot better than him.
My nephew can't look at a XDM 3.8 compact cause he's in California.
Both him and his OL is coming to my house for Christmas. He's like a kid in a candy factory wanting to see my XDM 3.8 compact when he comes here for Christmas.

My Brother in law who is a retired Full Bird Cornel son is a captain in the air force. He got a XD 40 compact and likes it. He wants the XDM compact 3.8 40 also

My buddy down the street who is a cattle rancher and a school teacher.
    Bought a XD 40 compact
He shot at like 100' and had a heck of a tight group.
He said he really likes the pistol
Both my brother in law who is a retired Full Bird Cornel and the other brother in law in AZ both have XD 40 Springfields. They both like them.

My wife likes her glock better than my XDm cause she has had it so long.

So you got the long barrel. I like the 4.5 barrel over the 5" barrel
But I like the compact 3.8 better

I know a walther is a good gun. Just not for me.

My brother in law who retired from the Air Force likes a DA Sig better than the Walther.
But his gun is the springfield XD 40
He flys so much he hasn't taken the time to go and even look at a XDM
He has a old Winchester shotgun that was his dads he wants fixed.
He don't have time. Ever since I've been in the family he is always gone flying somewhere for somebody.

I even posted this picture of him flying this plane getting paid

When we was there on a Sunday nite , he tried from 12:00 that day and make it home after 7:00pm that nite

My XDM will shoot holes threw those apps man :D

Well this guy here like I said has a XD with trigger kit and it is far better than your XDM. The Trigger on the XDM still needs to be replaced.

HRK, the trigger on the SR9C or 40C is still better than the PPQ, you should take one out and shoot it. I know I was amazed by them. Best bang for the buck is the Ruger.

    Sorry !

But I don't need the trigger kit.
My two XDM's shoot fine for me.

My 40 will shoot that good.

    Let me asks you this.
Have you shot a XDM 3.8 compact 40 more than once.
