just ordered the stage 1 kit w/ EZ just screw and the v-ductor. I have to admit that I'm kinda skeptical about the V-Ductor, but I read some reviews about it on here so I decided to go for it. I'll post my progress and results, and ultimately my own review when all is installed. In the future I may order the acc. pump. Thanks for reading...Joe

I have heard nothing vut good things about the V-Ductor. I am sure that you will like it. If for some reason that you have any issues, you have a lot of tech support here,

Well, I received the stage 1 kit and E-Z just screw on Thursday and installed it today. I did use the drill bit that came with the kit and drilled the slide.
After I got the carb all put back together I took it for a slow ride around the block a couple of times to get it warmed up. On the ride it would pop out of the exhaust on decell (and I'm talking about slow easy crusing around the block). But once I got home and adjusted the mixture screw, I took it for another ride and it was much better. the only problem is that the idle speed is a little bit high. I started to adjust the idle, but the wife and I were watching my 3 year old nephew and he kept coming over to HELP, so I put the adjustment on hold until I can focus on the bike. But my first impression is good. On my second ride, it was running good and strong with no popping or backfiring. after I lower the idle a little and take it for another ride I will do another report. Oh yea I also installed the V-ductor,although I did the stage 1 kit and V-ductor at the same time, so I don't know what effect the V-ductor has. Thanks for reading...Joe

dont adjust the idle too slow.....950/1000 will keep the engine from starving for oil.......

Well, I am doing adjustments by sound. I don't have a tach. When I come to a stop, I can just tell that the idle is higher than it usually is. I have been looking for a tach that I can hook up while I am working on the bike(like a dianostic tool)(sorry for the bad spelling), but I have not found one yet. Someday I am going to put a tach on the bike, but not right now.

Double check that the throttle cable or return cable is not binding or twisted, that can sometimes cause an elevated idle.

Well, adjusted my idle, adjusted the mixture screw and went for a ride. I could not be happier. I took a ride along the river, and before I knew it, I had gone 30 miles. The smooth roll on power was great. There is a huge difference in throttle response. I can't wait to ride with my brother-in-law, he has a 09 street glide and he just had a Power Commander installed. He is in for a suprise the next time we ride together.

You won't be disappointed in the V-DUCTOR - put one on mine last year and rode to florida and back ran great.

I put one in both bikes including my springer with a built motor. I rode it last weekend and put about 160 miles on it and got 46 MPG and I was riding it pretty hot. Did notice an improvement in it after installing it on both bikes and two friends here got em and said the same thing. :)
