New to the forum so please allow me to bumble in. I'm installing this upgrade in my '07 Dyna and am curious to know if anyone has blazed this trail before me. Would like to know what dyno results you got. Thanks, Al

Stage 3 and stage 4 heads should be for racing applications.
Guess this is a race bike.
Unless he's calling it something else.

It's Harley-speak for a kit with 103 jugs, 10.5 to 1 heads, 259 cams and the 58mm throttle body, I don't intend to race the bike...just want more torque.

259 are not really great cams if'n I remember right.
And a 58mm tb for yer bike is a little big for a 103 if'n I remember right. And the heads. Which heads ?
So how does jugs, pistons and a 58mm TB make it a stage 4 kit ?
    Somebody sounds a little confused.

    let me help.

    Here's Harley's stage 4 103

Screamin' EagleĀ® Street Performance Stage 4 Kit - 103 Cubic Inches | Genuine Motor Accessories | Harley-Davidson USA

and the instructions for the install

    http://www.harley-davidson.com/en_US/Media/downloads/Service/isheets/-J04802.pdf

how well the whole thing works I don't know. I would guess that it should be fairly reliable but I'm sure there are better options out there for upgrading your motor. I put a big bore kit in my 88 a few years ago but didn't go with cams heads or pipes not really fast but very reliable.

I don't know about those charts..They show only 68hp for stock 103? My 96"TC with SE Slip ons and SE intake & canned download does 72hp (dynoed)

And a little over 80lb-ft of torque@3500RPM's...sounds about right...They(HD) do seem to be a little on the liberal side with their SE Kits though...not just this one,all their kits...Should pull pretty good...just have to watch out for some hopped up 95& 98 inchers :chopper::rocket_bike:

For the amount of money being spend, I would want a lot more than what HD is offering.

customer had to have them,so we`ve done a couple, but I really like to "pick & choose" parts on builds insted of the "HD builds". with some work, the SE heads in the kit are OK for mid to upper RPM power & we like the TW8 cams better than the 259`s

But usually not from a person with one in their bike
The person is usually more than happy

Don't they make a lot of Noise?

And how many people riding everyday bikes build drag bikes to ride on the street.
I've seen Wolfgangs drag bike. It has Solid struts. Not setup for everyday riding.
