hey folks just wanted to compliment kenfused on his cv carb kit. thought my bike was running pretty good. i put on a set of harley slip ons. drilled out the idle plug, reset the mixture, ran good. put on the ness big sucker a/c, still ran ok but was worried about a possible lean mixture. got one of his stage one kits and did the install and adjustments as per the instuctions. wow what a difference. the off idle cough/ dead spot is gone. the exlleration up thru the rmps smoother and stronger. trasitions from idle to mid range is vastly improved. if i didn't know it was the same bike i wouldn't believe it was. if you have any carb problems try this kit first. not too costly and will probably fix your setup problems.
