Hi this is my first post.
My friend has a HD (don't know model). The starter solenoid does not release and the start continues cranking after the start button is released.
If the solenoid mounting bolts are loosened! so that it can be moved a little by hand, then the all function OK.
Any and all help would be appreciated.

What year is the bike? Could be the outer bushing or of late model the jackshaft bushing is dry. If it is an early model it could be the solenoid fork hanging up.
