Steering stablelizer

    anyone have a pic they could send me of a newer ultra with a steering stablelizer on it? A friend of mine stopped in with one for me to help him put on his bike and he didn't have any info on it. His bike is a 08. Or post something here.

    He converted his ultra to a trike, doesn't really have a problem but it seems to have a handling issue. Or someone told him it would help.

    if he didnt do any rake/trail adjustments, a stabilizer wont help.....the rake/trail needs to be changed.

    I've built a few trikes and what Chuck said a rake on it will make a big difference. When I built the Valkyrie trike for the wife I rode it without a rake kit on the front end..was horrible didn't handle very well. I installed a 4% rake on it and the difference was amazing.

    Easy steer was installed, the problem is it steers to easy. If no one has a pic I will just stop by a HD dealership tomorrow.

    This must be what you installed. Just so you know all trikes have a different feel to them when you do a trike conversion. What your wanting to see is what Harley has a added to their Trikes but sorry don't have one here to take a photo of so yes you may have to go to the dealership. You might be able to goggle it and see it but you don't need us to do that for you.

    Thanks, Hardware doesn't look the same so maybe they gave him the wrong kit. I'll stop tomorrow and check it out.

    Checked out the local dealer here today, (sure enough wrong parts). He came out this morning with heavy cross winds, said it was hard to hold on the road. Instaled it and sent him on his way he clled me when he got home and told me it was like riding a different horse, ( he loved it0 another satisfied customer gotta love it.
