The choke cable on my 1982 Honda Cb900 Custom is very tight and I have to use pliers to even pull it out to start my bike, is there a way to lube the cable or does it just need replaced?

You can try lubing your cable (cable lubes are available from most bike shops - even real bicycle shops). Before you buy a new cable, though, check your choke on the carb itself to ensure that it isn't the problem. If it hand-actuates easy enough, then the cable is the likely source of the sticking.

Try some Tri-Flo down the cable shield. That will do the trick.;)
