    Stock Carb vs. Mikuni 42

I just had a Mikuni 42 installed on my 02 FLHR and what a Difference! It is more responsive and seems to be much quicker. You won't be disapointed.

    Mikuni

I have had three bikes with Mikuni carbs and I love them. They are much more responsive than the stock CV, easy to adjust if needed and you can adjust the idle on the fly with one hand. I bought one a few months back, also from DP, for $250.

Good carb better feel, ie throttle response, depending on what you've done to the motor you may or may not see any power gains over a cv40.

Pipes, and air filter and a good tune on the carb will help gain power.
