fill your tank full as possible and add stable fuel stabilizer
change your oil and filter, run it and parkit refrain from running for short durations as moisture will build.

Remove the plugs, a good squirt of oil or wd40 in each cylinder and turn the engine over a couple of times to spread it on the walls. Then reinstall the plugs. But before any of the storage suggestions, take a good final ride (at least 25 miles to warm everything up) and then drain and replace all of the fluids while thy're good and warm so you remove all of the contaminates.

not so much the suspension as the tires, some where in this forum ken put out pics for a jack made of wood to get the rear off. my self I don't think it sets long enough to worry about but I have put it on one of those 60.00 checker auto jacs.

Last winter I rode year round, except for one day that it snowed and I didn't feel like risking dropping her...:)
