Street Vibrations 2012

    This years Street Vibrations seemed to have quit a few more bikers at it. Virginia City on Saturday was so crowded there wasn't even elbow room and the police were out in force everywhere you went. Signs were posted no colors at all event locations. Hells Angels had a big booth set up at Carson City Harley and while they were on the Dealership property they wore their colors.
    Lots of other gang presence pretty much everywhere but didn't hear of any problems. Coming out of Carson City Harley back to the bikes a group of mex. Gang bikers were also headed to their bikes. My friend Bill said hi to em just trying to be friendly. The big one of the group said to him what you want pecker head. We just walked away.

    Lots of vendors however. Most were in Sparks but booths were set up along Virginia Street to. Didn't buy anything except for a few T-shirts. Lots of women dressed with not much on. Lots of cool looking custom bikes.

    Virginia City was so crowded on Saturday my friend Loren and I decided to ride up to Lake Tahoe and then around the lake. It's approx. 75 miles around the lake.
    Got back in the afternoon and we sat around drinking whiskey straight or with Pepsi (all there was).
    We had a herd of wild horses come up behind the motel one morning, pretty cool site.

    The weather and the new revised layouts in Reno and Sparks made it the best overall SV run in the last ten years. The only downside is the crowds were humoungous. Still, no one goes to big rallies for small crowds and serenity.

    4 bikes were stolen from that little get together, all Road Glides from my understanding... Messages up all over the forum world looking for them or giving a heads up... they chopped by now...:banghead:

    Thanks for the pics. That '57 chopped Olds is great. I liked the skirt treatment. Too bad about that Mexican's sh***y attitude, but I see y'all had a good time anyway.
