I rode her all day Monday and my forehead burned
Da doo rag rag rag da doo rag rag
Somebody told me that my skin was red
Da doo rag rag rag da doo rag rag

    Yes
    my headbands cool
    Yes
    I look like a fool

And when ride with buds we all dress the same
Da doo rag rag rags da doo rag rags
We all wear our rags like the TV boys
Da doo rag rag rag da doo rag rag

Can’t wait til Cyril slips our picture in….
Da doo rag rag rag da doo rag rag

    Yes
    the suns hurts my eyes
    Yes
    my pipes burn my thighs

when I ride main street I pose at every light
Da doo rag rag rag da doo rag rag

    Well
Picked up one at the spoke today, paid Stugis Groups their bogus fees that way
Da doo rag rag rag da doo rag rag
Gonna cruse the main drag and and prove to all I’m ***.
Da doo rag rag rag da doo rag rag

    Yes
    my sunburns now tanned
    Yes
Everyone looks think I am the man
And when I ride home alone
Da doo rag rag rag da doo rag rag
Da doo rag rag rag da doo rag rag
Da doo rag rag rag da doo rag rag

I remember back in the 50's when do rags were used by black guys when they conked their hair - (to look like white people?) kept it in place overnight so their do's wouldn't get messed up. Is this yet another example of white boys ripping off "black culture" to look cool?

Ya wonder, if you ride with those on, and
it's sunny, when you take it off would you have
a big white band across yer forehead..

It's just funny at least to me that all
three have on the same doo look rags...

I guess it's like sitting at Duhtona on main
and watching the people, funny how many
look the same trying to be different.

You have to admit though, that it's hard to be different anymore. Just too many people in the world. I reckon there's a lot more bikers out there now than when I last rode in the early 70's.
HRK, did you compose those lyrics? You oughta be a songwriter!

Yeah,, I get the doo rag line half way up the forehead. I mow the lawn without a hat, and it all evens out again till the next long ride. I got bandana's and pope caps too. All leave me with a stripe of some sort !!:)

I got a hair net of all things with my new helmet from Lick's. Trust me, boys, I'll never wear it - Looks like something out of Victoria's Secret!
