    i have a nsr 150 which i saved i am on my Ls soon to go to ps i paid 3500 for the bike and ended up spending another 2000 to buy a new frame the old one was cracked aput back together now i need to look at my suspension which is stuffed should i by a new rear shock which is about a grand or should i try to have the current one repared any advice would be appreciated and i refuse to sell it because of the money that i have put in it

    The NSR 150 is a sportbike right?

    Here is a link to a sportbike NSR forum

    I would search these NSR type forums for a replacement take off where someone has put on a new shock, maybe aftermarket, $1000 seems high for a shock.
