Found The Hot Wires, 3 Total, By Looking At The Old Chip Board I Narrowed The 2 Going To The Tail Lite. When I Hook Them Up I Can Get 1 Lite To Come On With The First Click Of The Key, When I Turn The Key All On The Other Lite Comes On, So They Both Come On At The Same Time, Pump The Brake And Nothing, Kinda Seems Like My Brake Lite Is Constantly On. Thought It Might Be From The Brakes Not Being Bled. So I Did That, No Change, I Reversed The Wires On The Brake Sensor, Same Result. I Dont Have The Front Brake On But Don't See How That Would Make A Difference Since I'm Not Going To Run With One.

What color wires are you working with (factory of course I don't care what you are actually using to extend them LOL)? I can get you the pattern for the 05 (which is really close to the same as my buddy's 95 FXSTS).

I recall the violet being turn signals. Blue is running lights. Otherwise I can't recall but do have the manual and be happy to post for you tomorrow. No PC @ home now.

JMO sounds like a stuck brake switch in the handle bar/control

My Front Brake Is Off. Don't Even Know How It Makes The Lite Come On, All The Wires From That Are Blinkers, I Have A Blue Thats Hot, Orange And White Hot, Red And White Hot, Brown, Black, Violet, The Ground Wire Only Will Work With The Black, The Panle Shows The Orange And Blue To The Tail Light, I Can Leave 1 Unhooked And Not Use A Ground, Turn The Key All The Way On And It Will Go Off, Hook The Ground Up And Other Hot All Comes On, This Is The Same Light I Took Off, I Get The Same Result When I Hook Up The After Market Light And Ground It To The Frame. I'm Thinking The Same About A Stuck Brake Ingagment But How Do I Check For This The Rear Brake Seems Fine.

I agree, either stuck or broken off plunger on the switch by the master cylinder, very common Todd

Try loosening the handlebar brake assembly, just back it off a bit so the plunger is not making contact just to eliminate that as the problem.

Man I am such a freakin' idiot. I was all proud of myself this morning I remembered to grab the manual as I left for work. Yeah well I grabbed the parts manual not the electrical one. Sorry man, my bad. I will download and email you those other pics today. Apparently my Cranial-rectal-inversion has flared up again.

THANKS FOR THE E-MAIL WVAK47, SEEMS LIKE I'M JUST RUNNIN IN CIRCLES, PULLED THE SENSOR OFF AND CLEANED IT OUT, PUT IT BACK ON, BLED THE BRAKES AGIAN, NO LUCK THERE. I CAN GET THE RUNNING AND AUX LITE GOING, BUT THE BRAKE LITE SEEMS TO STILL STAY ON, THE LEAD FROM THE SENSOR DEAD ENDS ON THE OLD CIRCUT PANLE, WITH THE OTHER POWERING THE BRAKE LITE, WONDERING IF IT GROUNDS OUT, REALLY DON'T WANT TO CHECK. LOOKS LIKE IT GOES TO THE FRONT AND MAKES A LOOP. I DON'T HAVE THE FRONT BRAKE OR ANY BLINKERS ON, I PLUGED ALL THE WIRES BACK TO THE BOARD EXCEPT BLINKERS TO THE BACK, TOUCHED THE RIGHT WIRES TO THE SAME PLACE AND GOT THE SAME EFFECT. GUESS I NEED TO FIND SOMEONE WHO KNOWS ALITTLE MORE ABOUT THIS THAN ME, I'M ABOUT TO THE END OF THE LINE WITH IT.:witsend: :banghead:

GOT SOME MORE COMING FOR YA! GOT ANOTHER 4" LAST NIGHT:roflmao: WELL I TESTED THE REAR BRAKE SWITCH, ALL GOOD. GOT CRAFTY AND DECIDED TO SEE IF THE LITE WORKED WITHOUT THE SWITCH EVEN HOOKED UP. SAME RESULT AS IF THE SWITCH WAS HOOKED UP. THE LINE GOING INTO THE SWITCH IS 1 WIRE, OUT IS 2, THE OUT WIRE IS HOT HOOKED UP OR NOT, HAS TO BE SOMETHING NOT GROUNDING, MUST BE LOOPING POWER TO THE BLINKERS AND FRONT BRAKE. ANYHOW I GOT SOMEONE TO COME BY AND FIGURE IT OUT TODAY FOR ME. BIKE IS ALL TOGETHER EXCEPT PIPES, POLISHED THEM UP LAST NIGHT AND INSTALLED THOSE WASHER DOO HICKYS. I'LL PUT THE PIPES ON ONCE I TAKE THE BIKE OFF THE JACK, I STILL HAVE TO GO PICK UP SOME EXHAUST GASKETS. I'LL LET YA KNOW LATER TONIGHT ON THE LITE.

GOT THE LITE TO WORK FINALY. I WENT OUT THIS MORNING AND HOOKED UP ALL THE LITES AND PUT ON THE FRONT BRAKE, WHEN I DID THIS THE BRAKE LITE CAME ON, SO I STARTED UNHOOKING STUFF TILL IT WENT OFF, IT WAS THE FRONT BRAKE SWITCH, THE BUTTON ON IT NEEDS TO BE PUSHED IN FOR THE BACK TO WORK BY ITSELF, SO I MADE IT STAY IN AND ALL GOOD, THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP, ON TO NEW PROBLEMS:banghead:
