Talked with Zippers Tech support today.
There is a new map for the TBW TM owners. It hasn't been released yet.
But will be released soon. You can still git the upgraded software from TEch support.
I was given a link for it and upgraded my TM

They talked a couple years ago about doing bluetooth.
Guess they never got into it.

The TBW units hasn't been released for a long time. They are developing more maps for the TBW bikes.
    I'm glad they are.

What did they make money for. If you can't spend it what good is it.
I know some folks that are multi millionaires. They won't spend it , all they want is more.
And they have no hobbies either.
They will die rich and not of done much.

The bike was running good, but fuel milage and idle could be improved on.

Zippers dyno's newer bikes. The newer maps takes care of things like it might not idle just perfect. They changed the timing some.
The bike might not be gittin top fuel milage.
The map is a more refined map. With updated firmware.
I installed it and can tell a difference in the map already.
    A map just ain't a map.
Nothin is perfect man. It can always be improved upon.

The better you git a map the better it can tune.

That's why you can git yer bike dynoed but it can still not run right.
A map is a lot more than meets the eye. Especially my eye.
It changes everwhere from Idle to WOT. Along with the idle is fuel and air.
you can spend more time on a map and make it better.
When you do it, how hot it is outside, how cool it is outside. and things like that can effect a map different.
I ain't super good at explainin stuff either.

But think about a carb which is much simpler. The main jet and idle jet and the way the screws are screwed in for one bike might be different for another bike.
But a computer takes a whole more than that into the program. It has the timing too.

Throttle by Wire with TM ain't been out a long time.
When they released it the didn't have very many maps to choose from.
Zippers has been doing some dynoin makin new maps for the TBW bikes trying to improve the maps.
But if a base map is too far off it ain't gonna tune as well.
    The bike ran great.
But at ilde it droped off the set rpms. And the fuel milage needed improving some.
The new maps was suppose to help with all that.
    I drove my 07 Bike 50,000 with a TM.
Took it off when I sold the bike. Put it on a buddys bike like 3 or so years ago. He's still riding the bike today.
I have no problem with the TM on my bike.

This is for Throttle by Wire only.
Click on this and download it and save it in yer thundermax directory or make sure it installed the program there.
Make sure you have a 1.5 motorcycle charger hooked up to yer bike.
And make sure it does a firmware update after it installs the software.
I would go into the basic settings and change the idle to 1040 rpm.
Don't think I would run AutoMap.
Just make sure auto tune is checked
Ride the bike and let it tune itself. Gets better as you ride
