is there a way to fool the brain with a resistor run inline like you can do on cars with the iat sensor this is the third one in six months. It seems to rattle loose and screw up the prongs that attach to the sensor.

and that costs a lot more than a sensor
get a tq wrench and make sure you are getting
it tight enough it shouldn't move, blue should hold
it, but you shouldn't have to do it, don't coat it
with anti seize either or it can screw up the reading

The problem with a resistor is that you need the
sensor to tell the ECM the engine is cold for the
correct startup fuel, same for hot, if the resistor
is correct for the middle of that range you could do
it but you'd loose cold start and hot range.

I'd make sure you have a tall enough socket to fit without
screwing up the plastic connector, a socket with the wrench
flanges up top so you can get an open end on it will help
