Has any one here used this on thier bike? Put on my RK couple of weeks ago when i did alot of upgrades. 95ci 10.5-1 forge pistons, screaming eagle pro heads, andrews 60g cam,s&s gear drive kit, terminal velocity, and v&h true duals. Engine sounds good but has hesitation on fast exel and seems throttle dead when rolled wide open.Have put about 125 miles on it so far but dont want to run to hard till break in is done.therefore do not want to dyno it yet to see whats up.Not sure if it is fuel or ignition timing.Any ideas?

Hey Allen, welcome to the BikeTalk motorcycle forum. From what I know about the Terry Comp Terminal Velocity is it will work on any TC88 without tuning. The exception is when you increase displacement you still have to flash the ECU to adjust for timing. If you haven't had your harley dealer flash it for the 95 inch big bore build then that's your answer.

If you already got the flash, make sure you don't have any exhaust leaks at the O2 sensor.

    Terry Components

The unit was designed as a closed loop system to be used on bikes that have a O2 sensor in the exhaust system. It was originally designed to be use with the Rinehart true dual exhaust.

Two different guys I ride with tried the unit. One on an 02' Electra Glide and the other an 03' Road King. Both were fuel injected TC88's with true dual exhaust and 02 sensor.

They never could get the unit to function as advertised. HD tech's couldn't get them to function either. Both of my friends sent the units back for refunds.

I tried one too and it never worked correctly. I have a 95 cu. in, stock heads, 203 cams, 2 in 1 V&H Pro Pipe. They remapped 2 units then gave up. I had a lot of trouble getting my money back. So much for being able to "make any modification you want and the unit will adjust automatically".

The two guy's I know went with the Zippers Thunder Max and haven't had any problems. They have a new model out for 07' that comes with two 02 sensors and more adjustment points.

check this out before you buy Terry system

You want the best then buy the best Daytona TwinTec check out their website look at the manuals download and play with the software and decide if you have the computer saavy to set it up and it is not that easy, lots of time involved byt the whole system connects to the harley connectors, signals spe3edo etc work fine. This is onbe superior product and they open their door to allow you to decide if you can make it work. REED
