My wife and I went to Walgreen's (bet you're on the edge of your chair now) this eveing to get some pictures and while waiting on the pictures, I went to the magazine rack and started looking though a V-twin magazine. I saw an ad for the Terry Terminal Velocity and wondered if any of you have heard of this critter and if it's any good?

I've done some reading up and didn't like what I found. I've not used it myself. Most said it worked good for a while then started to run lean with the motor getting hot. You can't download new maps or do any tuning. If you want to spend that much money go with the PC 5 with autotune. Just my two cents.

I've heard a lot of negatives on other boards, ones that are very tech oriented.

If you have a twin cam get a TTS mastertune, it has the autotune to set the tables up
for you and is the upgraded better version of the original SERT from HD.

Steve Cole is the guy at TTS Mastertune

    PC5 with autotune is good.

    and the ZIppers Thundermax.

My brother in-law tried the Terry's unit, never could get the damn thing to work properly. He sent it back for a refund and went with the Zippers Thundermax. He loves the Thundermax and is thinking about doing the upgrade to a full closed loop system.

I'm not hearing any good at all about this unit so guess I'll be staying away from it. I hear good consistantly about the TTS Mastertune, PC5 and Thundermax so if I do an upgrade, it'll be one of those. Thanks for all the input and sharing your experience.

Had a buddy that put a Terminal Velocity on his 07 Street Bob, he had a lot of problems with it.
I had a Zippers Thundermax on my 07 Wide Glide I did a 103 build on.
The Thundermax was a awsum unit.
It did me very good on the 07 Wide Glide. Made the bike scream.
So my buddy with the 07 Street Bob put one on his 07 Street Bob. He loved the Thundermax.
When I traded my 07 Wide Glide in on my 08 FLHT it was TBW and the ECM had changed. Thundermax didn't have a unit for my bike so I went to
Jamie with Fuel Moto and got a Retro Fit PCV for my bike.
    It does a good job.

    Dynojet Power Commander V Five

But it just ain't a Thundermax with auto tune.
