I've been testing a series of new tuning parts for a few years and have reached the final stages. Now I'm looking for some people to beta test some items and get rewarded for your time and trouble.

Testers must have a fairly stock to mildly modified late model carbureted Evo, Twin Cam, or Sportster built between 1996 to 2006. Carburetor should be stock and unmodified (rejetted is ok). Be assured that you won't be a guinea pig. These parts have already undergone several years of real riding tests and shop tests. This beta test is to obtain a blind sampling of honest results without rushing to market.

The rewards - all parts will be provided free of charge. As an added bonus a select few who are willing to undergo dyno runs will be compensated for their dyno fees. To qualify as a tester you must be willing to take pictures, provide details of your experience, and for those doing dyno runs provide original copies of charts and tuning data. Shops are welcome to test as well.

Please contact me (Ken) for more details. Final testing will begin the beginning of August for those interested.

Ken, my bike is the 04 dyna wide glide, stock tc88 except for the thunderslide kit. Does that put me out of contention for testing? I would be happy to test for you if I could. I don't know where there is a dyno around here though. I may have a friend who has one but I'll have to check. Let me know.

    Thanks, Chris

Hi Chris, unfortunately this tuning package I'm testing won't work with a Thunderslide. I would be willing to provide you with a stock slide if you wanted to try it without your aftermarket slide. This would actually be a great comparison if you were willing. Dyno runs are purely optional and only if you have access to one. Send me a PM if you'd like to try it out.

    Thanks!

Ken, I'm leaving for vacation this morning so when I get back I'll PM you and we'll talk. I would love to try it out and see how it works. I'll check on that dyno as well.

    Thanks, Chris

Thanks Chris, I'll be starting the testing in a month. I still need to get through wedding and honeymoon before I kick off this final leg of this project :D

I've got a 96 FLSTC with a Thunderheader, and high flow air filter. The engine has also been punched out .040 over, and I'm also running an EV 27 cam. I'd love to test your carb, as I'm am always looking for more POWER. My carb has the thunderslide kit installed. I live in Korea, and don't know of any dynos here.

Thanks for the offer Scott, but I'm trying to keep this final round of testing here in the states. Once done the parts will be available worldwide.

Ken, I am riding an 06 XL1200L, with only Stage 1 done (SE high flow air cleaner, V&H slipon straightshots, and rejet carb). I would be willing to help you out with this... but I am in Canada. Would you be willing to send the kit this far? I am in Calgary... it would be a good test due to the elevation here, not to mention that I ride like a fri*gin maniac! Let me know.

Absolutely Peyts, Canada isn't that far away (by mail).

Its looking like I have a pretty good sampling of riders and variety of bikes for this last leg of testing.

    Ken,
I'm on an '04 FLHRS, 3,700 +/- miles, totally stock, although I'm considering
some V&H Slipons. I'd be happy to participate. Just lemme know.

Yup, you're in Peyts... can't let all the locals here in the states have all the fun.

I think my list is about full for participants for the regular (non-dyno) riding tests. I'll consider taking on 1 or 2 more of those who have access to a dyno.

Once testing gets underway next month I'll set up a separate forum/thread sharing the results.

Hi Ron, I'll keep you as an alternate and can let you know by the end of July as to how many are participating.

    Thanks!

Ken...if it makes any difference, a local shop has a DYNO.

Sweet, Ken! Thanks! And I also have a contact or two with a Dyno... so you can let me know once the testing begins if that is something you'd like me to do. Cheers, bro!

Ken, I'm trying to pin down if my buddies shop has a dyno or not. As soon as I find out I will post back and confirm. Thanks for the opportunity to test for you.

    I'm scum

I probably have a near perfect situation for you're testing as I have a dyno and all handy, Ken, but I just don't want to mess with my carb now that I can ride again and Ol' Red is riding so sweet. So while I do feel like scum, at least I can cheer up and ride again. Sorry.

Ken, I have access to a dyno but it is at an H-D dealership. Does that present a problem? I don't know if you are trying to keep a lid on your product. It is a dynojet. Let me know if this is a problem, I would hate to miss out on an opportunity to test for you.

    Thanks, C
