We've had a lot of wildland fires around here too. The last one was very close to where I was living a few months ago. 15 homes burned in that area. We've had a few wet days. Nothing like New England when it rains, but it's something. I don't like the rain, but we definitely need it.

Hope all you guys in Texas stay out of harms way and your homes as well. We have been in a drought condition ourselves since last year, don't want to wish for any hurricanes this year but a small tropical storm could help.:D

Heard today that the weather in Texas is the driest in 50 years.
Had a couple hail showers here today. Hail never gets above the size of a small 1/8th inch cube. Don't hurt much unless your riding without a face shield.

Too much rain here. Last year it pretty much rained for a straight 2 months, almost our entire spring. :witsend: man when it stopped raining boy did we pay for it too, we had humidity levels in the high 80's along with 90*+ temps as well. That sucked!!!

We get rain here to, not two months solid at a stretch but we also don't get that high humidity when its up in the 90's. We usually only get a week of temps of 100 but never see anything above the 100-102 temp rang, very rare. Usually when it gets hot people head to for beach where its can be in the 60's. Central and Eastern Oregon are different. Gets warmer, no humidity lot less train, much drier climate, love it in central Oregon. Probably one of the most perfect places to live, if I could only get the wife to move be gone in a heart beat.:D
