They are a nice looking bike, but from what it sounds like they were pretty bare bones with really weak brakes..

Does he have it all rodded out? I know a guy who has one and it is fairly tricked out (customized) and I just druel when I see it. I think he would sell it but I think he would want way too much for it..

I owned one for 13 years JB , no issues at all with the brakes they are the same as on other softails. It will always be my favorite bike because of the look and sound from the motor work I did to it, but for riding 2 up I'll take my bagger .:D

I guess this bike looks more like the precursor to the NightTrain... would you agree with that?

Somewhat, the BadBoy is just a springer with a black front end all black in color with a choice of color for the stripes on the fenders and tank and it had drag bars instead of the springers buckhorn bars. Built in 95-96&97.

They are nice riding bikes and I really liked the springer front ends for looks and the handling.

I have ridden only one springer and that was the crossbones and I have to say that i like that a lot as well. Actually I just spoke to my buddy and he said that if he were to sell his he said that he sell it for about 14k, not even 10k on the odometer. That seems a little steep for me for a bike that is nearly 20 years old.
