Those who have been following along the new version of the V-Ductor is almost ready for release. This will include new versions for the 08-10 Touring model and specific versions for Mikuni and Delphi throttle bodies.

Just for Bike Talk members I am discounting the regular V-Ductor down to dealer cost just prior to the new arrivals. Enter discount voucher vductor310 at checkout and the V-Ductor will be reduced to 32.99
This model fits the CV carb and Delphi only.

If you recently purchased one within the past week let me know and I'll settle up with you to get the discount as well.

Got mine installed on Sunday and it hit 40* today and got out for a test drive. Don't know if it was"first time out in awhile adrenaline" or the V-Ductor but roll on throttle was great even wot felt better, hard to say how much better in the cool dry air but felt a "definite" difference in pull. May have been just enough to sway me from the 95" kit I've been lookin at, will be able to give better results when it hits 70ish and the wife is back on. As for MPG I can't say as the rpm didn't get below 3000 very much :D:D

Money well spent Ken, I'm not worried about a price change - great product @ a good price Thanks again

Kenfuzed - What's the diffence between the "old" style and the new? I might just have to upgrade.

Functionally both the old and new are the same. The original was made by milling a single piece of billet aluminum, whereas the new version involves both cnc milling and laser cutting. Also the revised backing is thinner to work better with some aftermarket air cleaners. Both old and new share the same cone design so upgrading shouldn't be necessary.

The main reason for redesigning the V-Ductor was to be able to easily change tooling for different carburetor and throttle body designs.

Thanks - Guess I get to keep a little extra change in my pocket after all. The one I've got installed works great. IMO :)

    FYI
I tried entering the given discount code, but it wasn't recognized either by the "cart" or Pay-Pal. I paid the $37.95 anyway, but a sweeter deal would have been nicer ( Order ID : 1665112 )

I just put it on the wifes 04 Ultra, what a pain. Not the V-Ductor her bike. The two top Torx screws that hold the backing plate were lock tightened so bad that it appears someone else had stripped the Torx head. Wound up drilling them out. Got it apart all cleaned up now we just need some weather to ride. Last two weeks cold, wind and rain.

Not sure why it didn't take but I'll make sure your account gets refunded the difference so you get the discounted price.

Got my V-Ductor today. I guess installation is straight forward. Remove the plastic radius and bolt it back togather with the V-ductor replacing the stock factory plastic radius. Is that correct?
    Thanks
    Carlos

Whoa!!! Just checked out the V-Ductor Description, and it states that it goes BETWEEN the carb and the backing plate. So....do I leave the plastic , factory radius in, or do I remove It?

Correct, it mounts between the carb and the air cleaner backing. Not sure what you mean by the radius.

I don't know what it's called either. It's a plastic ring that the screws that hold the backing plate on the carburetor go through first. It has a radiused inner edge....my thought is that it is supposed to smooth out the air flow going into the carb. I'm not sure it's a stock or aftermarket thing....never had a CV carb in 45 years of riding!

I put mine between the carb & backing plate & just left the plastic venturi-thing in place. Don't think it'll impede the airflow, might even help.

Received mine in the mail yesterday. Took about 20 minutes to install. I haven't tried it yet but will let you know how it works.
