Don't know if many of you have heard or even know about this ride that travels to every state. It's the Traveling American Flag run and happens every year. I've been on 4 runs so far.

Well last Thursday a group of us Veterans once again meant at Latus HD as the traveling flag was delivered at the dealership the day before from the southern Oregon group.

We took the flag up to Kennewick WA one the upper Columbia River Gorge to Rattlesnake HD. It's about a 200 mile run one way and it's all freeway. Couldn't get on Hwy 14 on the Washington side of the river due to a fire that had the road closed.

Once at Rattlesnake HD we had a ceremony and passed it on to the next set of riders for its next leg in its journey heading into Idaho.

OllBill, myself and another old friend Bob left the following day heading for home and decided to ride up to Grass Valley Oregon then down to Shears Bridge on the Deschutes River and up to Tygh Valley. Then up the old Barlow road (where the wagons passed heading towards Portland and over MT Hood. All in all was a good day and a really good ride.

    Here are a few pics
