I am thinking of painting the spokes ( 9 spoke cast wheels) just the black center part, but I want to paint it the same color as the bike, sierra red has anyone done this? I think it might possibly easier to just paint it with a small brush, instead of spraying, you dont see much of the wheel anyway being on a roadking with 2 calipers, and then finish up with clear coat, let me know what you think,

here is a link to a picture of my bike so you get a idea what the wheels look like, Todd

for the best possible job, remove the wheels, discs. wash with soap and water, dry. make sure the water is out of the small holes in the spokes. get some painters masking tape...blue stuff at wallyworld. tape off what you dont want to paint. skuff what is left with a red scotchbrite pad. blow off the wheels with air and wipe with some alchohol. spray the wheel with an adheason promoter.....bull dog is what i use. then spray the wheel with your color, using light coats at first. let that dry then spray with the clearcoat...spraying will give the best results, good results can be had using a brush, but the chance of seeing brush strokes is great....
