This Makes Me Feel DUMB, but PLEASE HELP

    Where is the oil drain plug on a Honda Sabre (2007)? I'm not a mechanic, BUT, I do need to change my oil. I easily located the oil filter.:(

    Dude, ya need to get ya a tech manual. It will save you tons of trouble later. Most (but certainly not all) here are Harley guys/gals, so it may be a wait for someone to give ya Honda info. There is more on your ride to keep track of than oil levels, so break down and get one - you can Google "Honda tech or service manuals" and come up with sources. Or try the dealer, but I've found that on the Japanese bikes (Yammie & Kawi that I had/have) they can be so friggin' clueless that it is scary.

    I could guess at where your drain plug is (low by the tranny?) but that may result in you pulling the wrong bolt, and that can get expensive. So get a manual and get informed. Wish I could help more, but that really is good advice.

    Well, yup, I guess it would or could be costly to pull the wrong bolt. I've never serviced any of my bikes myself other than the routine checking this & that & topping off etc.
    So off I go to hte bookstore!! Thanks Again!!!!

    even your owner's manual should tell you where the oil drain plug is and how to change your oil so untill you get to the book store you should be able to get the basics done with the book you have

    Just call the parts desk at the Honda dealer, they can tell you but I would order a Service manual because it will list everything you can work on where it is and how it works.

    Plus you'll know how much oil to put back in the motor.

    THANKS TO ALL and TO ALL A CLEAN OIL CHANGE

    Well I did some digging around found the manual, The plug was hidden directly behind the radiator hose. That would be why i couldn't find it, NOT used to having radiator hoses on a bike!!!!:D
