Well fellers, I just joined the first group in a big league fashion. Last Saturday afternoon, I had a major accident on my bike and am just now getting up enough to tell about it. The last thing I want to do is put a damper on any one's riding or inject fear in a new rider but I did want to tell y'all that it did happen. I may have to come back later to fill in the details if you want to hear them but suffice it to say I had a compound fracture of the left femur, a broken collarbone and many other scrapes and bruises. I'm going to be out of commission for awhile and the bike is being looked at as totaled. I can tell you I was only about six inches of being totaled myself. God was with me and saved me for some reason. I'm glad He did. I get back later with some details but meanwhile, BE CAREFUL out there. It only takes a second to change your life.

That is terrible to here praying that you heal well. Glad I mean really glad to hear you are still breathing.
I came way to close yesterday getting hit. Women driver came shooting out on a four lane road clear over into the far lane where I was and moments before nailing me broadside she slammed her car to a stop about a foot from me.
I'm really sorry you got hurt but glad your hear to talk about it. Keep us up to date on how your doing and if anything any of us can do.
