Time is almost ticking!

    Well, tonite is my last nite in this cess pool that the Army calls Ft. Polk, LA. Draw weapons tomorrow evening and the bus pulls out shortly after!!! Let the journey begin (not to mention the "clock" starts ticking on my deployment once I get downrange!). 2+ months from home and no deployment credit for it yet!

    The training that I have received has been VERY good....real eye opener in some cases. Good time, demanding, very much needed, BUT.....Let the journey begin!

    I will let you all know when I get someplace that has Internet and I am no longer transient status.....(ie, get to my deployment location). Have a great ride!

    Made it to Manas today. Been traveling since Friday nite. Was a long day. Now have had a shower, food, sleep...almost back to being human again!
