Timing problems

    I JUST BOUGHT A 1958 HARLEY DAVIDSON IRONHEAD SPORTSTER 900 XLH FROM A GOOD FRIEND, THE MOTOR NEEDED SOME WORK IT WAS TOGETHER WHEN I GOT IT BUT THE, PUSH RODS, MAGNETO AND CARB. WAS NOT IN THE MOTOR, I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING I COULD THINK OF AND GOT THE BIKE TO FIRE LAST WEEKEND ON ONE CYLINDER. I HAVE DONE SOMETHING WRONG THO. I HAVE TOOK IT BACK DOWN , CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW TO SET THE MAGENTO? I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIND A SERVICE REPAIR MANUAL BUT, HAVE HAD NO LUCK. ANYTHING YOU CAN TELL ME WOULD HELP NO INFO TO SMALL TO SHARE. :witsend:
