getting things lined up to do the top end on my 94 wide glide and see that tires will not make it through inspection in july. anyone have any thoughts to tire brand + or - ? really do not want to (SAVE) 20 or 30 bucks a tire only to regret it the life of the tires

I'am sure you will get many opinions(like a**holes, everyone has one) I just bought Dunlop D401 for mine, more or less original equipment and got a good price from Dennis Kirk, JMO:D

I use Dunlop's also, original replacement tires. Motor company does a lot of research on stuff like that before they put them on from the factor, others will say there are brands that get better mileage wear or handle better, I haven't found that to be true. You ask, so that's what I have to say, JMO.

Dunlop E3's are an excellent tire, wouldn't go wrong with 401's or 402's either...
Avons Venom are excellent and the AM20's and AM21's are very good all around tire...

actually for the Dunlops I purchased, $10 less per tire and also free shipping from Dennis Kirk. they did have a $5 tire disposal or something like that fee, haven't ordered from the Superstore so don't know if they have this fee or not.:D
