    1. Stock exhaust with Cycle shack slip-ons
    2. K & N filter
    3. EZ-Just Screw

Will the 42 pilot be fine with a little adjusting or do the mods dictate a jump to the 45 pilot. Not sure if the minor mods warrant rejetting?

    Thanks

Right now the bike has a 45 pilot and it seems to run a little rich but only sputters or pops when cold and when starting up again after setting for a short time. Very rich smelling when running but seems to run ok and gets around 47 mpg. Highway speed it feels sometimes on hard throttle like it's loading up or holding back, can't explain it but it seems heavy on acceleration. Had a Harley tech tell me today I was over jetted or something. I have turned the ex-just in until slightly seated and the bike still runs Ok, that's why I asked about maybe going back to the 42.

    Thanks

47MPG doesn't sound like its overly rich. Carb farts when cold happens. What needle jet is in it and what main? Hiway speed you're on the needle jet until about 3/4 throttle, you can try dropping a size on the main and see how it goes there.
