Y’might say Jones has a Jones for a lot of things, but top of that list is gears, wrenches, scoots, and riding. No point, really, in getting into the list after that, as its contents are legion. I’m pretty sure that means a whole bunch in biblical terms... but the point is, he can’t leave a busted bike unwrenched, regardless of...

Thanks for sharing the cartoons with us, Shovelrob. I used to live in Monterey in the 80's , got up to Hollister now and then. Then we moved to Santa Barbara and everything went south from there. Gangs, drugs, murder & mayhem. It was good-bye California & hello N.C.! I am a teacher, too. High school shop & art. What do you teach?

    Hey Josh!

We've been here about nine years--I'm originally from santa rosa.

My degree and credential are in English but somewhere along the way I got un-lost and wound up in art where I belong. Now I chair the art department (I think my fifth year) and have been running our Saturday School detention for around six years. I teach multimedia/digital art and this year in the middle of it all I took over the advanced multimedia and oversee the video production class.

A good friend of mine and fellow rider is chair of the CTE department, where the shop classes live. Our ROP program is pretty strong.

NC sounds nice from all I've heard. My dad has been there a few times on vacation with some extended family. For all the glamour and hype, California sure isn't all it's cracked up to be, but here I'll stay.
