that the Glide goes back on the dyno for its final pulls. The key has been installed and my maiden voyage with it installed is very soon. I am eager to discover the results of this very cheep upgrade. Not sure if I will like it though. Just not fancy enough for me...:D

Agree don't look at it as the magic bullet It's just a tool to fine tune the curve, should make a bit more TQ earlier...

remember an engine and cam setup are based on timing, like a clock certain events happen at specific times, the cam's timing determines WHEN the power curve will happen, not generally HOW MUCH power will happen.

Lift and Duration determine how much fuel and air (ergo burnable mix to make power)
get in and for how long you'll get it on each stroke.

So basically advancing the cam 4 degrees tells the clock you want to wake up just a bit earlier, like setting your alarm clock ahead... You're still up for the day but just earlier, you are not stronger or taller, just awake... The wakes the cam up earlier, so you should or may feel
more power about 300 RPM sooner.

The dyno will show it, depends on if your butt figures it out...

Well I got the bike back and with a bad tire I picked up about 4/4 and it is coming in about 500 rpm sooner. I guess the gain that I got is what I expected after LISTENING to all that has been said. I can notice the difference but it is very slight. I, overall am still not completely happy. I am going to get a Daytona Twin Tek ignition and I am going to add some timing. If I am not happy with the results that changing the timing brings, then I am going to go ahead and do the 98" kit.

Does this mean that I have to learn how to steer with my ass????

well if it comes in 500 rpm sooner on the highway in high gear it should run out better and sooner than it did

Really don't feel it until 3k rpm. That is where I feel the biggest difference.

well mine cruises at 3000 at seventy in fith . Not sure of your gearing but if yours is there as well and it pulls good from there should run good for passing and not having to shift.

When I am at 70 mph this thing is now a friggen raped ape! However I cruise a 60 and I am at 2500 at 60 mph. Yes, pulls very nicely at 3000 and up, I would like it to pull hard from 2500 on up though.
