Well it started off with rain. Most of us were in rain gear while others whore heavy leather. Heated grips were really great going over the coast range pass. At the coast the weather improved, even had a bit of blue sky and some sun. First stop at the coast was Cannon beach. The women went quilt shopping and us guys found a coffee shop. Road up to a view point where I took a group pic. Then down to Nehalem and town of Wheeler on the Nehalem Bay. More quilt shops for the women and us guys found a restaurant for food. Rode further south to another quilt shop and then back to the town of Tillamook. World famous for it's cheese and ice cream. Then up Hwy 6 along the Trask River. Fall colors are really out.

Where everyone is standing the next pic of the ocean is directly behind us with a abrupt drop to the ocean below. Very steep and my wife is standing on top the way behind everyone. I yelled at her to get down but she don't listen:rolleyes:

Nice pics. You guys look like you're ready for anything. Man, that ocean looks cold! I remember travelin' up and down the Washington/Oregon coast in the fall - always seemed like it was raining and lots of fog.
Are you in the group picture?

Nope, I was taking the picture. It stayed dry along the coast most of the day but was cloudy, then sun breaks. That water is cold stays about 45 degrees in the fall and stays cold even in the summer.
That picture looking out to the bay and river is a really good Salmon and Steelhead fishing river.

:roflmao: We must have looked a bit motley. We went into the restaurant to eat and one guy in there got up rather quickly, paid his bill and left in a hurry. Must have been watching to much of the Son's of Anarchy.:roflmao:

    We had fun though. :D

Looks like I see a Dude with a Sweatshirt with a Hood and a FXRG leather Jacket.

We have both been very pleased with it.
