Went on a ride today over to Pacific City on the Pacific Coast and then back up the Nestucca River with olbill and another friend Bob plus some other guys that they know and then up and over the coast range Mtns. We had lunch at that restaurant, called the Pelican (fitting name). That is Haystack Rock in the background at the coast All good riding guys and was a great ride today. I put on 238 miles to my garage. We even hit a patch of snow on the road coming back up the Nestucca River road coming over the top and had to stay in the tire tracks.
Was a great day with temps at home in the 70's and temps at the coast in the 60's.:)

I usually don't ride in groups but I am sure that it is fun. One of my wife's clients likes to ride and we said last night that we will go riding together. It would be like a crowd of 5 bikes....

We have a lot of country to ride in around here like that. I suppose if we didn't get a lot of rain it wouldn't be such beautiful country and nice riding through. When the sun is out it is just amazing here.

Those are beautful shots FLHT, and looks like the day was about perfect.

Johnny, that's the very best kind of riding there is......great scenery, interesting destination, a good meal, and a few good ol boys to share it with. If you go by yourself, there's no one to say "Hey look at that!"

There's also nothing like the sound of a group of Harleys roaring down the road. Music for the soul!

:D I knew what you meant. She had a quilter friend over last Sarurday and when this thread started it was last May. She is bound and determined that she is boarding a plane and flying to Boise to go on a quilt hope with her friend there, next Tuesday. She won't listen to even the doc.
She has more friends coming over this weekend so I'm going to ride a Sunset HOG chapter ride up the Klicitate canyon that starts from the Columbia river gorge. Beautiful area and hope to get some pics.

be sure all the dishes are in the dishwasher
the bed made and all the rugs vacuum'd before you go!

Flying might not be such a good idea with all the
small seats, bumpy flights etc but you see a lot
of folks doing it with injury.
