Being a recovering alcoholic and all (18+ years), I'll admit that I've made some stupid decisions - mostly back in the day. One thing that always amazed me was that despite a stupid drunk tattoo (recently lasered and covered up nicely), I always managed to keep my tattoos where they are easily covered. This was a good thing when I started working in corporate America.

It's been almost two years since I quit cubicle-land, although it's been a little rough at times, and I've wondered if I'd ever have to cave in and go back. Now that I got the contract to manage the training site for ABATE in Greeley, I'm feeling a lot more confident that I won't have to work for The Man again. :D

Last night I was out running a couple of errands and my friend texted me saying that she was getting some ink and asked if I wanted to come over there. Of course with me being the crafty person that I am (including my new Yudo silkscreen setup), I wasn't sure if she was at an art store or a tattoo studio.

I finally figured out it was the latter and thought it would be a fun way to spend a Monday evening. I decided to take the plunge and get a tattoo in a place that's a little more obvious. In fact, I got my business logo. I figure that people get Harley's logo tattooed all the time, so why not do my own? It's pretty cool. I also figure it will scare away any guys not up for the challenge. :roflmao:

Tat are addicting aren't they? I have three of them and I am thinking about starting a sleeve on my left arm, and continue going on my right arm.

Hot01, that is nice tat, I hope you enjoy it.

WideGlide, what's the meaning of the symbol in the center? It looks familiar, but I can't place it.

There were a few comments on Facebook about how it fits me so well. Of course riding home in a blizzard today drove the point home, so to speak.

Cardboard, it's a sexy curve! The official curve sign is much more... snaky.

Congrates on your sobriety. That is something to really be proud about.

So whats it like riding in a blizzard?

It's like, WTF was I thinking? Any physical discomfort is completely overshadowed by the need to stay alive.

Also sober for 15 years on June 21st. Used to ride dirt bikes in the snow for fun, but that was BEFORE the sobriety thing! :)
