I recently put a detachable tour pack on my 06 Road Glide. But there just isn't much room back there. I can get an inch if I use the other mounting holes on the bracket, then if I purches another seat (harley calls it a reach seat) I can get another inch. Now we are up to two inches. Does anybody out there know of somebody that makes a relocation mount for a detachable set up?

No problem Texas Road Glide. The only thing I can come up with is weld a couple inches (2 or 3) of mettle on to the bracket that I already have. Then put a reach (ultra classic or barco lounge) on it for another inch. Ok... now Im'e up to 4 inches and with the new seat I even made an attempt to offset the wieght of the pack on the rear of the bike.

one thing to think about......dont go to far back as you may have a tendency to lighten the front end from weight in the tour pack......just a thought
