All the detachable stuff I’ve seen has a little play in it, the tour pacs seem to have the most. JMO from what I’ve seen and been around.

My Key works good and I can git it off and on.

If I got the OL on the bike she is leanin on it and it don't mater.
But when she ain't on I can hear it.

That's exactly what happened to me. Key is too long and I ended up getting it jammed in the lock. Had to tap it out which pretty much ruined the lock. Very poor design from my viewpoint.

The lock has worked well for about 3 yrs.

Ace style locks require a little bit of maintenance when out in the elements.

The lock gits a lot of water and dirt in it. Look how dirty yer tag gits.
Even though it's a small lock
I Put Tri Flow Spray in it periodiacly to keep it lubricated and in workin order.

btw check the black plastic covers on the mount, if cracked or gone could be part of the problem same up front connectors have clear plastic on the mount...
