Has anybody added a detachable Tourpak to a Roadglide? Do I need an antenna relocation kit?

I have a 2004 Road Glide with the detachable kit. I put a "rubber ducky" type antenna on it, one that is only about 12" long and bends easily. I'm sure I lost some reception, but still picks up pretty well. When I have the tourpak on, I just bend it under the pack itself. Still works fine. I picked up the antenna at AutoZone or one of those places. I think it was under $10. Just a thought, and it cleaned up the look of my bike alot too.
