Bought a plug and play wiring harness for wiring up trailer lights, They work fine just faster than normal. Does anyone know where to get a heavy duty flasher for the turn signal lights?

FLHT from what I read am I to understand the isolator acts as a flasher or increases the voltage enough that the fast flashing doesn't occur.

Yes, I never had to replace any flasher when I installed that harness. Plus it separates the wiring so it does not screw up the wiring on your bike in other words it isolates the trailer lights separate from the bike and does not put the load back on the bike. It uses its own power supply direct from the bikes battery and has its own main fuse. I have used that harness on all the bikes that I have pulled a trailer with. Plus you can simply unplug it all and transfer it to another bike. Harley's have a specific adapter so if you get one before ordering read up on what is specific for the Harley.

thanks, that is what I was thinking,
Chuck the harnes aren't made by Harley some are just Harley specific, at least that's the way I read it.

Yep, the harness is not made by Harley, yet even though they won't warranty a bike with a hitch on it, they will sell hitches but you have to order one. They will also sell you the harness for pulling a trailer.
The service manager at our dealer says if you have a warranty problem take the hitch off before bringing the bike in. So, better have some tools with you if you breakdown on the road.

sometimes mine flashs ok and other times it is way fast, the sub-harnes that I have just plus in and has pig tails coming out to connect the trailer wires to. just don't have to splice them.
