I have recently purchased a chrome horse four-speed transmission. I would like to know the recommended fluid and how many ounces. I have put in 20oz which was recommended by the Harley dealer but the transmission is leaking around the main seal. All that I have done is fired the motorcycle up in the shop. Is this too much fluid?

    Thanks for any advice,
    Danny

If it's leaking the seal may be the problem not the fluid, I don't know the fluid capacity sorry.

Hotroadking is right. If your overfilling the tranny it will not leak out of the seal, unless the seal is bad itself. Ride Safe, David.
