Putting on my traveling shoes; going to AZ next week 'til Christmas. Visiting with the three sons and their families and hoping to rent a bike for a day and get up to Prescott to see what all the fuss is about. Figured I'd follow all the empty redneck bud bottles to follow CB's recent AZ adventure. :roflmao:

This time of the year you want to go South to Tuscon
It will be warmer. Go to the airplane grave yard and the other sites
    Tombstone.

go to el guero. I think the original store was on 12th street.
YOu want to get a sonoran dog and a pepsi from Mexico

I'll be at a sons house 1/2 hr from Chandler HD, 1/2 hour from Chesters HD in Mesa and 1/2 hour from Superstition HD in Apache Junction. So it's my choice. More than likely I'll rent from Superstition HD because they will pick me up and drop me off at the house.

Tucson knows me pretty good. I had one of them dogs already. They are extremely good! That place is a great place to eat. There are many great Mex food places to eat in Tucson and the Phoenix area.

Sounds like a plan. I really liked Tucson whenever I was there, the last time being in 1999, when we moved to N.C. Great food and people. Been to Prescott, too, but a long time ago. In those days, you could drive as fast as you wanted.

keep us posted, we are thinking of going down to Prescott between Christmas and New Years, we'll drive so we don't have to rent any thing when we get there. It's only about a 12-14 hour drive.
