    This pic was posted by a person on Facebook of Trillium Lake tonight. Years ago I took my kids and cross country skied across that lake one very cold winter day. Sure pretty at night. Still have those skies to :)

    But think I'll stick to my motorcycle, but we sure do live in pretty country up here.

    Taken by a cross country skier at night. You notice the bright light on the lower part of MT Hood. That's the resort and ski lodge. But them stars is what got me.

    When I was working on a bridge west of Missoula , MT at night I couldn't believe the night sky. The clear air out there and the billions of stars just beautiful.
