    Friday a week ago my appendix ruptered an i had to go to the Emergency room.
    I'm LUCKY to be here.:gah:

    Wondered where you went off to, glad your back and apparently doing better I hope. :) I don't know how a ruptured appendix feels but its gotta hurt like heeell.

    If it did rupture, you are indeed fortunate to be here. My son's ruptured a few years ago and it was touch and go for several days. I'm very glad you're back and posting.

    When I finally endured all the pain I could take for days, a cat scan was done and they told me.
    I was transferred to Lufkin Hospital. The surgern said my white blood cell count should be around 8000, but it had sored over 28,000 and I was near the point of no return.
    He said my appendix had rutured and he couldn't poke any holes in my body and take it out. He would have to make a small incesion. Well the small part of across the bottom of my gut.
    I was on Morphine to just lay in bed.

    I know the pain, mine ruptured back in 1990. Good to hear from you again & get well soon.

    If my wife hadn't of come to the hospital and stayed I might now be here either.
    This was really tough. Can't remember ever being in this shape.

    Course when I was hit by a truck when I was 6, I don't remember nothin of.

    Sounds like LOADS of fun....NOT! Glad that you are in the process of pulling through on THIS side of the bright light! Take it easy and know that you will be back to riding again by the time the heat wave of next summer hits....(course, you may miss some NICE riding right now through spring, but....) ;-)
